The Forsaken God Mode script protects you from the killer's attacks, so a hit that would normally down you does nothing and you can work objectives or revive teammates without fear.

Going down is how survivors lose rounds, and the killer only needs a couple of hits. God mode removes that pressure entirely — you can stand on a generator, body-block for a teammate or run interference while the killer wastes time attacking you for no effect.
