Using Scripts Safely
Scripts are fun, but using them carries some risk — to your account and your device. This guide covers the handful of habits that keep you safe: protecting your login, choosing trusted sources, and being smart about where and how you run scripts.
Get a free executor
You need an executor to run any Roblox script. Grab one free.
Never share your password
This is the one rule that matters most. No legitimate script, executor or key system ever needs your Roblox password. Anything that asks you to "log in to continue", "verify your account" or enter your credentials is a phishing scam — close it immediately.
Executors only ever ask you to click through a key checkpoint. Scripts only ask to be pasted and executed. Keep your password to yourself and you avoid the worst outcome entirely.
Only use trusted sources
Most malware in the scripting scene comes from fake executor downloads and re-uploads promising "no key" or "premium unlocked" versions. Stick to official sources for executors, and read how to recognize a safe script before running code you are unsure about.
When in doubt, prefer well-known executors like Krnl and Fluxus over an obscure tool you found in a video description.
Protect your account
Scripting always carries some ban risk, and it varies by game. To lower it:
- Consider using scripts on an alternate account rather than your main.
- Be subtle — obvious aimbot or flying in crowded public servers gets you reported.
- Use private servers for the flashier features where you can.
- Keep your executor updated so it stays undetected after Roblox patches.
Know the anti-cheat
Roblox runs anti-cheat (Byfron / Hyperion) that detects some tools. Reputable executors update to stay ahead of it, which is why an out-of-date executor is both more likely to fail and more likely to flag you. For the deeper picture, see the Security guides.
